LEWIS-CLARK STATE (5-5) at CAL STATE NORTHRIDGE (7-4), 7 p.m.--This is the Matadors’ final game before Big Sky Conference play begins Saturday. Northridge, 3-0 at home and 1-0 against non-Division I opponents, is coming off a decisive victory over James Madison a week ago. Center Brian Heinle averages 14.3 points and 7.0 rebounds, and is one of seven Matadors scoring at least eight points a game. Forward Rico Harris, who has not played since Dec. 3, remains questionable because of a hip pointer. Guard Greg Minor has made 31 of 63 three-point shots, including seven against UCLA on Dec. 19. Guard Carl Holmes, the Big Sky freshman of the year last season, is showing signs of emerging from a shooting slump, making three of four shots against James Madison. Holmes has made only 20 of 66 shots. Ten Northridge players average at least 14 minutes, and playing time again should be spread around against the NAIA Warriors. Northridge is the only Division I team on Lewis-Clark’s schedule.
