In another boys’ game:

Glendale 1, Hart 1--The Dynamiters advanced to the Hart final in a shootout, 10-9.

Vartan Ter-Poghossian stopped the final shot, by goalkeeper Rusty Wadatz of Hart.

In regulation, Chris Ciccone gave Hart (5-2-3) a 1-0 lead before Edgar Manvelyan scored on a breakaway.

GIRLS’ GAMES

Chatsworth 3, Quartz Hill 2--Jackie Fodor scored twice in the final three minutes, lifting the Chancellors into the final of the Hart tournament today at 2:30 p.m. against Hart.

Chatsworth (10-1-1) defeated Hart in last year’s tournament title game.

Julie Gold and Jodie Cox scored for the Rebels (5-3-2).

Hart 4, South Pasadena 2--Erin Misaki scored twice to lift the Indians (9-3-1) out of a 2-2 halftime tie and defeat the Tigers (13-3-1).

Chaminade 2, South Torrance 0--Lindsey Horn and Kelly Lavery scored second-half goals and the Eagles recorded their ninth shutout in a quarterfinal in the Excalibur tournament at Foothill High.

South Torrance (11-1), which won the Southern Section Division II title last season, had its 40-game unbeaten streak ended.

Horn gave the Eagles (10-1-1) a 1-0 lead in the 43rd minute off a corner kick by Amy Watts. Lavery followed with an 18-yard shot in the 53rd minute.

Chaminade, which will play Alta Loma in a semifinal today at 9:30 a.m., is the two-time defending Division III champion.
