Pasadena Soccer Player Commits to UC Irvine

Lawrence Smalls, a midfielder from Pasadena La Salle High School, has orally committed to play soccer at UC Irvine, his mother, Dedina, said Sunday.

Smalls is a two-year starter on the La Salle varsity and was named first-team All-Santa Fe League last year. The Lancers reached the Southern Section Division V final. Smalls also plays for the Santa Anita Sting, a club soccer team.
