Authorities have identified a 17-year-old found dead last week in the trunk of a car in West Covina as Pablo Aguirre of Los Angeles, but officials have yet to release the name of another man found dead with him.

A guardian reported Aguirre missing Dec. 29 along with the family’s Mercury Sable. His body was discovered in the trunk of the car Jan. 7. The identity of the other man has not been released pending notification of relatives in Mexico. The pair’s cause of death had not been determined.

Meanwhile, sheriff’s deputies continued their search for the killers of a 15-year-old Pasadena boy, one of three teenagers struck Monday by gunfire directed at a van containing eight people. The coroner’s office identified the boy as Ceasar Robles Garcia.
