Los Angeles police are seeking four men who took $2,000 from a family as they were eating dinner Monday evening.

Police said two gunmen pretending to be deliverymen tricked one of the victims into opening his front door in the 17600 block of Rushing Drive about 8 p.m.

Two other men were waiting in a white Lincoln Navigator sport utility vehicle parked at the curb, police said.

The gunmen forced their way inside the home and held the family at gunpoint, demanding money from the victims, who included a man, his wife and at least two young children, police said.

Det. Ken Crocker said, “Apparently they knew of the victim,” who owns several carwashes and had brought home $2,000 from his business.

Once the gunmen got the money, they left in the sport utility vehicle.

Crocker said no one was injured during the incident.

Police have not identified any suspects in the case.
