* PACIFIC (12-8, 5-2) at LONG BEACH STATE (8-11, 3-4), 7:30 p.m.--The long-awaited Battle of Britain is tonight, when Pacific’s 7-foot-1 center Michael Olowokandi from London comes to the Pyramid, where Andrew Betts, the 49ers’ 7-foot-1 center from Ibstock, awaits. The edge would appear to go to Olowokandi, a more polished, more experienced player who averages 20 points and 11 rebounds. He also has the better support, with Corey Anders and Adam Jacobsen. Betts averages 19 points and 10 rebounds. Long Beach State comes back home where it won three of four before going to Boise State on Thursday night and losing, 84-60.
