Authorities said Thursday they have few clues in the fatal shooting of 14-year-old boy on a staircase outside an apartment complex.
Joshua Marchesano was outside a complex on Lark Ellen Avenue about 10:30 p.m. Wednesday when he was shot, Sheriff’s Deputy Angie Prewett said.
Marchesano was transported to a hospital where he was pronounced dead an hour later, she said.
Covina Police Lt. Kim Raney said several people were in the area at the time of the shooting but so far, no one has come forward with a description of any suspect. Six months ago, another shooting occurred near there, he said.
