Rowland Will Leave Eagles for Cal Baptist

Rick Rowland, who coaches boys’ and girls’ swimming and water polo at Santa Margarita High, will direct the aquatics program at Cal Baptist.
Rowland, who in 1997 was The Times Orange County coach of the year in boys’ swimming, has been coaching at Santa Margarita the last five years.
Scott Taylor, who coaches boys’ swimming and water polo at Costa Mesa High, will replace Rowland. Taylor’s replacement has not been announced.
