PREP BASKETBALL NOTES
Some of the top high school basketball players in California are scheduled to participate in the IntenseCity All-Star Slam at Santa Ana College, June 28.
The 7 p.m. game matches all-stars from Southern California and Northern California. Tayshaun Prince (Compton Dominguez), who has signed with Kentucky, leads the Southern California team and UCLA recruits Ray Young (Alameda St. Joseph High) and Matt Barnes (Del Campo Air Oaks) lead Northern California.
A game between Orange and San Diego county all-stars precedes the featured game at 5 p.m. Tickets are $10 for adults and $7 for students.
