* Southern Section divisional championships at Cerritos College, 11 a.m. Saturday: The nine competitors with the best marks at last week’s divisional preliminaries advanced to this meet, which will determine team champions for Divisions I, II, III and IV. The top nine performances in each event at this meet, regardless of division will advance to the Masters Meet, May 29 at Cerritos College. The first events begin at 11 a.m. with the boys’ long jump and shot put, and the girls’ high jump, long jump, pole vault and discus. The running events begin with the 400 relay at 1 p.m. and the last running event, the 1,600 relay, is scheduled to start at 7:10. The running order for all events will be Division’s II, III, IV and I. The 3,200, in which the top 12 advance to the Masters Meet, will combine Division’s II and III, then Division’s I and IV.
