In other Division II matches:
Foothill 11, Canyon 7--Junior Ryan Katzman won, 6-2, 6-0, 6-1, to advance Foothill (14-6) to the quarterfinals against Mission Viejo. Foothill got two victories from Matt Zuckerman and Scott Wilson in doubles, 4-6, 6-6 (7-3), 6-2. Canyon finishes 14-7.
Mission Viejo 11, Cypress 7--Eric Bachelor and Leandro D’Agostini swept in singles, losing only two games each, to lead visiting Mission Viejo (19-3). Bachelor is 53-3 this season. Cypress finishes 18-4..
Sunny Hills 17, Hesperia Sultana 1--Sophomore Joseph Kao didn’t lose a game in singles and Sam Yeu won, 6-4, 6-1, 6-0, for third-seeded Sunny Hills, the defending Division II champion. The Lancers (17-3) will play Corona Centennial.
In Division I:
Corona del Mar 18, Redlands 0--Sam Shahmardi and Peter Kulmaticki swept in doubles, 6-0, 6-1, 6-0. Corona del Mar (19-1) lost only five games in doubles and eight in singles.
Dana Hills 12, University 6--Brian Kent improved his season record to 56-1, winning, 6-2, 6-1, 6-4, for host Dana Hills (21-0). University finishes 10-8.
Los Alamitos 11, Glendale 7--Cody Jackson won, 6-0, 6-0, 6-1, and Ed Huang and Samir Vora won in doubles, 6-2, 6-1, 6-0, for Los Alamitos (18-2).
Woodbridge 12, Arcadia 6--Adam Artunian won in singles, 6-3, 6-2, 6-2, and Tyler Call and Jonathan Sheridan won in doubles, 6-2, 6-3, 6-3, for fourth-seeded Woodbridge (16-5), which will host Los Alamitos in the quarterfinals Tuesday.
In Division IV:
Laguna Beach 16, Los Angeles Windward 2--Tyler Strateman and Mikael Qazi won, 6-3, 6-0, 6-1, in doubles to lead Laguna Beach (12-8). The Artists will play third-seeded Palos Verdes Chadwick in the next round.
