San Bernardino 34, Antelope Valley 31--Joseph LaCombe kicked a 43-yard field goal in the third overtime to give San Bernardino a Foothill Conference Northern Division victory at home.
Antelope Valley led, 16-0, late in the first half when Sal Iabichella returned a punt 72 yards for a touchdown.
For the second consecutive game, however, the Marauders allowed a touchdown on the final play of the half. This time, it was Moses Herrera connecting with Omar Shaheed for a 30-yard scoring pass.
Herrera completed 16 of 32 passes for 244 yards and four touchdowns, three to Shaheed.
Antelope Valley took a 24-17 lead in the third quarter, when Tyree Booker scored on a five-yard run.
The Indians (5-3, 2-1 in division) answered with Shaheed’s second scoring reception with about 12 minutes left in regulation.
Booker finished with 83 yards in 19 carries. Jan Brown added 82 yards in 14 carries and scored one touchdown.
