ANAHEIM
The Esperanza High School Speech and Debate Team recently took sweepstakes awards in the Orange County Speech League’s first novice tournament, outscoring the second place team by 91 points. The team competed against squads from eight high schools in the county. Esperanza’s 42 team members collected 47 awards.
