GIRLS’ TENNIS
Grant 5, San Fernando 2--Freshman Shayna Fox won her match at No. 1 singles and the Lancers won a City Division semifinal at Meridan’s Tennis L.A.
The Lancers (11-1) play Marshall for the title Wednesday.
The Grant No. 2 doubles team of Alejandra Reynoso and Sona Ovsenyan improved to 12-0.
WOMEN’S BASKETBALL
Cal State Northridge 74, Portland 55--The Matadors (2-0) forced 31 turnovers and won a nonconference game at Northridge.
Edniesha Curry scored 22 points on six-of-20 shooting for Northridge, which had 17 steals against Portland (0-2).
