From Staff Reports

Craig Calloway, a point guard from Long Beach Jordan High, has signed a letter of intent with Cal State Northridge.

The 6-foot-1 Calloway averaged 14 points, five rebounds and four assists per game last season. This season will mark his fourth as a varsity starter.

Coach Bobby Braswell of Northridge rates Calloway on par with several talented point guards he has coached--Adonis Jordan and Tim Bowen at Cleveland High, Kenya Wilkins at Oregon and Tyrone Mitchell at Long Beach State.
