WOMEN’S BASKETBALL

Moorpark 67, Grossmont 48--Alofa Tuimoloau made four of six free throws and a three-point basket in a 21-point performance to help the Raiders (1-1) win at Moorpark.

Polly Neves scored 25 points for Grossmont (0-6).

Cuesta 80, Pierce 73--Carlyn Couch had 18 points and 14 rebounds for the Brahmas in a Western State Conference interdivision loss at Cuesta (2-3).

Stephanie Taylor scored 17 points for Pierce (1-2).

Cal Lutheran 65, Westmont 48--Center Missy Rider had 16 points and 12 rebounds for the Regals in a nonconference victory at Cal Lutheran.

Rider made six of 11 shots and four of five free throws.

Forward Nicole Sanchez scored 11 points for Cal Lutheran (3-0), which outrebounded the Warriors (5-1), 53-33.

Lexi Miller had 10 points and six rebounds for Cal Lutheran.

MEN’S BASKETBALL

Azusa Pacific 94, The Master’s 77--The Mustangs (3-3) could have used Jerome Joseph’s 20 points and six assists in a nonconference loss at Master’s.

Joseph transferred from Master’s to Azusa Pacific (4-1) after his sophomore season.

Justin Leslie had 24 points and nine rebounds for the Cougars.

Joclin Julmist had 14 points and 10 rebounds for Master’s, and Joey Penberthy added 14 points and four assists.
