In other nonconference women’s basketball:

Concordia 66, Hope International 35--Concordia shot 27% in the first half, but came back to shoot 45% in the second and outscore visiting Hope International, 40-17.

Jamie Gast had 10 points and 13 rebounds for the Eagles (2-2).

Denise Silva had 10 points and nine rebounds for Hope International (1-4).

Southern California College 86, Christian Heritage 50--Sara Herkenhoff made 10 of 13 field goals and scored 22 points to lead SCC (4-2).

Amee Pina contributed 20 points and 13 assists for SCC, which won its fourth consecutive game.

In nonconference men’s basketball:

Chapman 75, Whittier 51--Twelve players scored in Chapman’s third consecutive victory. Todd Canavan led the Panthers with 11 points and Tim Werdel and Matt Poutsma had nine each. Rich Johnson had eight points and eight assist for Chapman.
