NFL Might Love L.A., but Feeling Here Isn’t Mutual

Referring to Diane Pucin’s (Oct. 30 column), I concur 100%. We are far better off without any team in this market since the NFL in their financial greed and wisdom saw fit to allow Queen Georgia to have her way for a $25-million donation to the kitty, thus allowing a second vote to move, and, of course, they had no guts to face up to Al Davis, so the Raiders do what they want (and still lose).

As a season ticket holder--two tickets from 1976 until the move to Anaheim, then four seats until the departure to St. Louis--and also a charter Rams’ Booster member, I was one who did not try to stop the move as one could see the handwriting on the wall.

I say let them go anywhere but here, we do not need them or another losing franchise.
