South Pasadena 13, Hoover 0--The Tigers (2-0) scored two fourth-quarter touchdowns at South Pasadena.

Shavar Alexander scored the first touchdown on a six-yard run with 5:14 to play. P.J. Hernandez set up the score with a 35-yard punt return to the Hoover six.

In Soo Hwang secured the victory with a seven-yard touchdown run with 51 seconds to play.

Junior tailback Jason Young of Hoover (0-2) was held to 48 yards in 17 carries. The Tornadoes squandered scoring chances when drives stalled at the South Pasadena 33 and 34.
