In other Mission Conference games:

Cerritos 53, Golden West 0-- Brian McDonald, who played at Buena Park High, gained 111 yards in 15 carries for Cerritos (2-1). Golden West is 0-3.

Long Beach 48, Fullerton 7--Former Los Alamitos High quarterback Sean Stein threw for 375 yards and five touchdowns to lead Long Beach.

Jermaine Strong had five catches for 154 yards and two touchdowns for the Vikings (3-0).

The loss was the worst in 37 years for Fullerton (1-2).

El Camino 41, Saddleback 7--It’s the first time in the college’s history that Saddleback has started a season 0-3 and it was also the worst margin of defeat since 1989 for the Gauchos.

In the Fairview Park Cross-Country Classic:

Orange Coast women win--The defending state champion Orange Coast women’s team took six of the top seven spots to win the team title with 17 points.

Orange Coast’s Zolla Gomez won the individual title in 19 minutes 44 seconds over the 5,000-meter course at Fairview Park.

Mt. San Antonio was second with 48 and Fullerton third with 137.

Saddleback men finish second--The Mt. San Antonio men won the title with 34 points. Saddleback was second with 75, three points ahead of Orange Coast.

Oxnard’s Aaron Sharp won the men’s individual title with a time of 20:50 over four miles. Saddleback’s Dan Gaston finished second, 20 seconds behind.

In the Merced men’s water polo tournament:

Golden West 14, Riverside 9--Adriano Marsili and Ivan Vranjes each scored four goals to lead Golden West (13-0-1) in the championship final.

In the Mt. San Antonio women’s water polo tournament:

Cypress 11, Mt. San Antonio 6--Shannon Ross scored a pair of two-meter goals in the second quarter to give Cypress a 7-1 halftime lead.

Santa Ana 15, Santa Monica 7--Kristen Thompson scored eight goals and Melinda Padilla had four in Santa Ana’s consolation victory.
