Highland 13, Littlerock 0--Tom Gonzales pitched a five-inning one-hitter with eight strikeouts for the Bulldogs (10-5, 4-1) in a Golden league game at Littlerock (5-6, 1-4) that was called due to the 10-run rule.
Chatsworth 4, Cleveland 3--Matt Fisher drove in the winning run with a single in the fourth inning in a Northwest Valley Conference game at Cleveland.
Cleveland (7-8, 3-3) scored three in the sixth but Mike Kunes (5-1) retired Alex Legarreta on a popup to end the rally.
Poly 10, Canoga Park 0--Elvin Najarro pitched a no-hitter for the Parrots in a Valley Pac-8 Conference game called after five innings because of the 10-run rule at Poly.
Najarro (2-0), a junior right-hander, struck out the first six batters and had 10 for the game.
Juan Flores had three hits and three RBIs for Poly (13-5, 6-0).
Canoga Park is 0-10, 0-5.
Grant 7, Reseda 2--Felipe Tetelboin had a home run and two RBIs for the Lancers (11-3, 5-0) in a Valley Pac-8 Conference game at Reseda.
Royal 8, Moorpark 4--Casey O’Quinn’s second home run of the game gave the Highlanders an 11-inning Marmonte League victoryat Moorpark.
Russel O’Brien (1-0) struck out four in pitching four scoreless innings and Wes Martinelli had three hits and three RBIs for Royal (11-2-1, 4-0).
Thousand Oaks 3, Westlake 0--Chris Cordeiro (4-0) struck out eight and hit a home run in a Marmonte League victory for the host Lancers (10-4, 4-1).
Newbury Park 7, Simi Valley 4--Anthony Foli’s three-run double in the fifth sparked a six-run rally and the Panthers (9-5, 2-2) won a Marmonte League game at Newbury Park.
La Habra 6, Hart 2--Matt Friedrichsen had two hits but the Indians (14-4) lost in the La Palma-Kennedy tournament.
Kyle Ballard (6-0) struck out six in five innings for La Palma (13-4).
Rio Mesa 5-6, Calabasas 1-4--Greg Ramirez (5-1) pitched a one-hitter, striking out 11, and hit two doubles for host Rio Mesa in the first game.
Issac Romero had two hits, including a double, and drove in three runs for Rio Mesa (13-5).
In the second game, Nick Barroso hit a two-run home run for the Spartans.
Hoover 8, St. Francis 7--David Marquez hit a three-run double in the seventh and the Tornadoes (10-4) won at St. Francis.
St. Francis scored five in the seventh but left two runners on.
