* Record vs. Clash--1-1.
* Update--The Galaxy is only a point behind Chicago and Dallas, which are tied for second in the MLS Western Conference standings, and eight behind first-place Colorado. The Clash defense has been porous, having given up 36 goals. But the Galaxy will be without injured forwards Carlos Hermosillo, who has a back strain, and Clint Mathis, who underwent surgery on his left knee Friday for a ligament tear suffered in Wednesday’s 3-1 win over Chivas of Guadalajara. Winger Cobi Jones and defender Robin Fraser return from U.S. national team duty, as does Clash winger Eddie Lewis.
