Min Sinks Two Free Throws to Lift Edison

Su Min made two free throws with two seconds remaining to give Edison a 57-55 victory over host Lake Highland (Fla.) in the championship game of the Orlando (Fla.) boys’ basketball tournament Saturday.

Min had 12 points and tournament most valuable player Steve Henderson had 25 points and eight rebounds to lead the Chargers (5-3).

In the Arroyo Grande tournament:

No. 4 Ocean View 73, Camarillo 59--Marques Crane scored 32 points, making six three-pointers, to lead Ocean View (9-1) to the title.

In the Catalina boys’ tournament:

Anaheim 78, Heritage Christian 59--Jesus Salcedo had 16 points and Stephen Miller scored 15 to help Anaheim (8-3) win the title.

In the City of Palms (Fla.) tournament:

No. 1 Mater Dei 75, Boca Raton (Fla.) Pope John Paul 41--Jamal Sampson had 21 points and six rebounds for Mater Dei, which took a 36-20 lead at halftime in the first-round game in Boca Raton.

In the Troy tournament:

No. 2 Troy 83, Valencia 34--Mark Alhberg had 21 points and 11 rebounds to lead Troy (10-0) to the title. Troy led off the game with a 29-9 run.

In the Murrieta Valley tournament:

No. 5 Marina 63, San Diego Orange Glen 28--Dustin Kaatz scored 18 of his 21 points in the first half for Marina (8-2), which won the consolation final.

In the Trabuco Hills tournament:

Costa Mesa 72, Laguna Hills 63--Costa Mesa outscored Laguna Hills, 23-13, in the fourth quarter. Ryan Naff scored 22 points and Steve Whitaker scored 21 points to lead the Mustangs.

No. 6 Santa Margarita 87, Chadwick 49--R.J. Socci scored 24 points for Santa Margarita.

Trabuco Hills 74, Blair 60--Evan Fields scored 22 points for Trabuco Hills.
