* Brian Ault

* Harvard-Westlake/Senior

* An all-Southern Section Division I selection who also garnered the Mission League’s co-most valuable player distinction and led the Wolverines in scoring.

* Joe Axelrad

* Harvard-Westlake/Senior

* The region’s best goalie who also plays for the U.S. National Youth team had 97 saves and three assists for Mission League champion Wolverines.

* Mike Derse

* Ventura/Senior

* The Channel League’s co-most valuable player is an all-around talent. He scored 90 goals, had 24 assists and made 63 steals.

* Brenden Farrell

* Alemany/Senior

* The Indians finished last in the Mission League, but Farrell did not go overlooked. He scored 64 goals, averaged two steals a game and was named the league’s co-most valuable player.

* Hans Larsen

* Agoura/Senior

* Third-year starter was the main scoring threat for the Chargers. He scored 84 goals, had 26 assists and 54 steals.

* Lloyd Masson

* La Canada/Senior

* The Southern Section Division III player of the year made more than 300 saves and was key defender in the Spartans’ championship run.

* Tom Onyshko

* Royal/Junior

* The Marmonte League co-most valuable player is a goalie who set school records with 390 saves and 686 career saves. Also had 57 assists and 30 steals.

* Ed Patterson

* La Canada/Senior

* Among the region’s toughest two-meter defenders, Patterson earned all-Division III honors and helped the Spartans win their second section title in three years.

* Carlos Pelayo

* Crescenta Valley/Senior

* In his third season as starter, Pelayo scored 136 goals, was named the Pacific League’s most valuable player and led the Falcons to the Division III final.
