Reseda 2, Grant 1--Carlos Morales scored 18 minutes into the second half to seal the victory for the Regents (15-3-1, 7-1-1) in a Valley Pac-8 Conference game at Grant (6-5-6, 3-2-4).

Highland 4, Quartz Hill 0--Eric Wright and Rafael Garcia each scored two goals for the Bulldogs (11-4-3, 3-1-1), who moved into a tie with Lancaster and Palmdale for first place in the Golden League.

Camarillo 2, Channel Islands 0--Alix Rucinski and Sabrina Stracke scored for the Scorpions (13-3, 8-0), who earned their 10th consecutive victory in a Pacific View League game at Camarillo.

Monroe 6, Sylmar 1--Liz Nemeth scored the first two goals and Zulema Mejicano scored the last four for the Vikings in a Mid-Valley League game at Sylmar.

The Vikings (7-4, 4-1) scored five times in the second half to break a 1-1 halftime tie.

Brenda Hernandez scored for Sylmar (0-8, 0-5).

St. Bonaventure 2, Oak Park 1--Christina Gonzales scored in the third minute and the Seraphs (13-4-1) won a Tri-Valley League game.

Rebecca Carroll scored the 86th goal of her career for Oak Park (8-10, 4-1).

Alemany 1, Notre Dame 1--Kristin Connolly scored in the 50th minute but Notre Dame got even in a Mission League game.

WOMEN’S BASKETBALL

Canyons 90, Bakersfield 69--Tasha Allen scored 29 points and Liz Grey had 19 points and 10 rebounds for the Cougars in a Western State Conference South Division victory at Canyons.

Guard Stephanie Wasserman of Canyons (15-6, 3-1) suffered a broken collarbone in the game.
