Boys and Lopez Like Life at the Top

The Backstreet Boys and Jennifer Lopez retain their holds on the top spots on the album and singles charts, respectively, both in Southern California and nationally. The local lists feature two new entries each, with rapper Slick Rick and the Phil Collins-fueled “Tarzan” soundtrack entering the album Top 10 and country’s Shania Twain and hip-hop’s Ja Rule breaking into the singles chart.
