vs. Kansas City

12:30 p.m., ESPN

* Site--Rose Bowl.

* Radio--KRLA (1110), KTNQ (1020).

* Records--Wizards 1-9; Galaxy 5-6.

* Record vs. Wizards--0-1.

* Update--Among the new faces at Galaxy practice was Redlands’ Landon Donovan, who scored 30 goals in the last 32 games for the U.S. national under-17 team. Donovan showed offensive skills that could boost a slumping Galaxy but this was just a friendly visit--he has signed with Bayer Leverkusen in the German Bundesliga. The Wizards are coming off a 3-1 loss at Chicago, a game in which Mo Johnston scored their lone goal. Johnston will not play today, suspended for yellow-card accumulation. Kansas City got more bad news when the league squelched rumors about signing national team standout David Regis. “Under the right circumstances, he would be interested,” MLS Executive Vice President Ivan Gazidis said. But, Gazidis added, “Nothing is imminent with David.”

* Tickets--(877) 3-GALAXY.
