Chris Payne
Fullerton, Sophomore
Basketball
Payne, from Whittier La Serna High, has been Fullerton’s most consistent scorer this season. She had 22 points in a playoff victory over Moorpark and it was the 19th consecutive game she has been in double figures. Payne also had 11 rebounds, making it her ninth double-double of the season. She is averaging 16.6 points and 7.3 rebounds.
Softball
Jennifer Carlisle
* Saddleback, freshman. Was six for 10 with two triples and two home runs and scored four runs in three victories.
Chris Mattice
Santa Ana, Sophomore
Basketball
Mattice ended his Santa Ana career with a career-high 44 points in an 86-84 loss to Hancock in the first round of Southern California playoffs. His single-game total is the third highest in Santa Ana history. Edgar Wickliffe set the record of 47 in 1978. Mattice, who missed five games because of a broken nose, averaged 22.2 points.

Ray Bardone
* Orange Coast, sophomore. Won the javelin, the 110 hurdles and the long jump as OCC beat Saddleback.
