* Despite a severe ankle injury, Fullove sparked the Pioneers in the playoffs with 21 points in a Southern Section Division I-A quarterfinal victory over Ventura. He averaged 16.6 points.

Nick Jones / Santa Clara

Guard/Forward

* Jones, who has signed with UC Santa Barbara, led the Saints with averages of 22 points, nine rebounds and 2.5 steals. He and guard B.J. Ward helped lead Santa Clara to the state Division V title.

* Guard/Forward

* Outstanding multiple-sport athlete averaged 19 points for the Chargers, who finished third in competitive Marmonte League. Lepisto was on The Times’ All-Ventura County football team.

* Versatile swing player set a school record for three-point accuracy, making 75 of 154 shots (48.7%). Also had the ability to score inside and averaged 17.1 points for Marmonte League champions.

* The Pacific View League player of the year averaged 20.9 points, 4.9 rebounds and 2.8 steals, and made a team-high 58 three-point baskets.

Jeff Staniland / Ventura

* Guard

* The Channel League’s co-most valuable player set school records for a single season by scoring 745 points and averaging 25.9 points a game. His 1,499 career points also is a Ventura record.

Damian Tafoya / Oxnard

* 5-8, Sr.

* Guard

* Averaged a team-high 12.3 points to help the Yellowjackets (21-7) win the inaugural Pacific View League title and advance to the second round of the Southern Section Division I-AA playoffs.

B.J. Ward / Santa Clara

* 6-1, Sr.

* Guard

* A repeat selection to The Times’ All-Ventura County team, Ward, who has signed with UC Santa Barbara, teamed with Nick Jones to provide the Saints with the best backcourt in the region.

Henry Lobo / Oxnard

* Lobo guided the Yellowjackets to the Pacific View League championship with an 8-0 record in his eighth season at the school.
