Volleyball Players Choose Colleges

Six girls who play for the Orange County Volleyball Club have made college decisions, Coach Charlie Brande said.

Middle blocker Michelle Armstrong (El Modena High) signed to play at Wichita State; middle blocker Lauren Belcher (Edison) signed with Manhattan College; outside hitter Ceneca Calvert (Irvine) signed with Brown; outside hitter T.J. Gause (Calvary Chapel) signed with Azusa Pacific, and outside hitter Regan Riewerts (Canyon) in going to UC Santa Cruz.

Middle blocker Sally Jahraus (Laguna Beach), who originally announced she would attend Sonoma State, changed her mind and accepted an academic scholarship to Cal Lutheran, where she will also play volleyball, Brande said.
