Lancaster Rally Falls Short
A two-run rally in the ninth inning made it close but Lancaster never led and fell, 6-5, to the Bakersfield Blaze at the Hangar on Saturday night.
Greg Connors and Shawn McCorkle had home runs for the JetHawks (16-26), but pitchers for the Blaze (25-17) allowed only four other hits.

The JetHawks added catcher Scott Maynard, who was promoted from Wisconsin of the Class A Midwest League.
