Moorpark 55, Glendale 20--Emmanuel Evans rushed for 293 yards and four touchdowns for the Raiders, who stayed in contention for the WSC Northern Division title.

Evans scored on runs of 26, four, 13 and three yards at Glendale High before being replaced by Aaron Kleefisch in the third quarter.

Kleefisch had 139 yards and three touchdowns in 17 carries for Moorpark (6-3, 5-1), which defeated Glendale for the seventh consecutive time.

Moorpark broke it open with four touchdowns--three by Kleefisch--in the fourth quarter.

Mike Frost of Glendale completed 20 of 34 passes for 332 yards and three touchdowns but had five passes intercepted--all leading to Moorpark touchdowns.

Frost tied the school record of 22 touchdown passes in a season last week against Hancock and broke the record in the first quarter against Moorpark.

Chad Heydorff had six receptions for 127 yards and two touchdowns, giving him a school record 77 receptions. Randy Stage held the previous record with 73 catches in 1974. Heydorff tied a Glendale record with his 15th touchdown reception on a 79-pass from Frost in the third quarter.

Shayne Sobel caught four passes for 100 yards for Moorpark, including a 41-yard touchdown from Farhaad Azimi in the fourth quarter.

Paul Smith caught five passes for 119 yards for Glendale (3-6, 1-5), scoring on a 53-yard touchdown pass play from Frost that tied the score, 20-20, in the third quarter.
