Chaffey 27, Antelope Valley 14--Jason Anderson rushed for 243 yards and one touchdown, but the Marauders fell in a Foothill Conference game at Lancaster.

The Marauders (2-3, 1-2) fumbled three times, two of the turnovers leading to scores.

With the score tied, 7-7, Chris Jones scored for Chaffey (2-3, 1-2) on a 59-yard run one play after a fumble by quarterback Justin Holtfreter with 2:31 to go in the first quarter.

Then H.R. Lugo caught a 10-yard touchdown pass from Zach McWaters late in the first half, set up several plays earlier by an Antelope Valley fumble on a punt return.

McWaters completed 19 of 28 passes for 202 yards and two scores. Lugo had five catches for 70 yards.

Holtfreter completed two of five passes for 19 yards. His backup, Monte Gutowski, was four of seven for 24 yards.
