Cypress Streak Reaches 44 With 14-0 Soccer Victory

The Cypress women’s soccer team extended its unbeaten streak to 44 games with a 14-0 Orange Empire Conference victory over Fullerton Tuesday at Fullerton College.

Tymarie Novak and Alie Nunez each scored three goals to lead Cypress, the top-ranked team in the state.

Jane Specht and Lisa Herman each scored two goals for the Chargers (18-0, 7-0).

Santa Ana 2, Orange Coast 1--Ana Velazquez and Noelle Garcia each scored goals to lead visiting Santa Ana (10-4-4, 4-1-2). Katie Ogden scored for Orange Coast (5-9-3, 3-3-1).

Santa Ana 5, Orange Coast 0--Tomas Serna scored four goals to lead visiting Santa Ana (16-0, 7-0). Orange Coast fell to 2-12-2, 1-5-1.
