Garden Grove took an early two-touchdown lead before Westminster scored touchdowns on five of its next six possessions to win, 42-27, in a nonleague football game Thursday night at Westminster High School.

Quarterback Kelly Coburn and running back Christian Chamberlain led the way for Westminster (3-4). Coburn threw for 157 yards, connecting on touchdown passes of 38 yards to Keishun Hollins and 14 yards to fullback Cande Maldonado. Chamberlain finished with 101 yards in 13 carries and scored two touchdowns on runs of 12 and four yards.

Trailing, 35-20, with less than two minutes remaining in the game, Garden Grove (4-3) scored on a two-yard run by quarterback Keo Sutherland. The extra point was no good and the Argonauts attempted an onside kick.
