Paraclete 30, Montclair Prep 22--The Mounties scored the first and last touchdowns of the game, but sophomore running back Curtis Brown controlled the middle for Paraclete (4-3) at Antelope Valley College.

Gary Sonkur scored for Montclair Prep (6-1) on its first offensive play, a 76-yard run, and finished with 128 yards rushing in 23 carries.

Brown rushed for 171 yards in 23 carries, including a 41-yard touchdown.

Trailing by 16, Jerome Dennis ran 77 yards for a touchdown and added a two-point conversion run to cut Paraclete’s lead to 30-22. Montclair Prep’s final drive stalled at midfield.

Paraclete quarterback Rob Fockaert passed for 195 yards, completing 12 of 20 passes. He threw two touchdown passes and added a five-yard touchdown run.

St. Bernard 27, Crespi 14--Jamie DiPoma of Crespi completed 15 of 39 passes for 165 yards, and was sacked seven times for minus-74 yards by host St. Bernard (2-5).

The Celts (1-6) capitalized on only one of three inteceptions, scoring in the second quarter following Bruno Angel’s interception.

Running back Marc Salazar ran for both of Crespi’s touchdowns, covering one and three yards. Salazar rushed eight times for 33 yards and caught two passes for 33 yards.
