Woman Is Found Stabbed to Death in Car Trunk

DOWNEY — The body of a 23-year-old woman who had been stabbed repeatedly was discovered Monday in the trunk of her car in a towing yard.
The Long Beach woman, whose name was withheld, had been reported missing at about 1:30 a.m. Monday, police said.
Detectives assigned to the case found the woman’s body in the trunk of her 1990 Toyota Tercel about 5 p.m. at United Towing Service, the city’s towing operator on Ryerson Avenue, police said.
