In another Foothill League game:
Saugus 48, Burbank 12--David Parker threw for 277 yards and three touchdowns for Saugus (6-2, 2-1) at Burroughs.
Parker completed 17 of 31 passes and added a two-yard touchdown run before being replaced at the start of the third quarter with the Centurions leading, 34-6.
Nathan Steele caught five passes for 115 yards. He had 104 yards receiving in the first half, including a 58-yard touchdown play.
The Saugus offense started slowly, failing to score on its first three possessions. But Daniel Pulsifer’s 11-yard interception return for a touchdown with 9:32 left in the first quarter put the Centurions ahead for good, 7-0.
Alan Gutierrez rushed for 109 yards in 19 carries, including an 18-yard touchdown, for Burbank (1-7, 0-3).
