In Sunset League girls’ golf:
No. 10 Esperanza 141, No. 2 Los Alamitos 142--Freshman Kayley Parrett had three pars and shot 44 for the Aztecs (5-1, 1-0) at Yorba Linda Country Club.
In the Sea View League:
Newport Harbor 109, No. 7 Laguna Hills 118--Sophomore Kelly Hunt shot a four-over 35 at Casta del Sol for Newport Harbor (4-0, 1-0).
In nonleague boys’ water polo:
No. 3 El Toro 8, No. 7 Corona Del Mar 5--Tim Craycraft scored four goals for host El Toro (9-2).
No. 4 San Clemente 7, No. 8 Los Alamitos 5--Josh Hewko scored the game-winner with 4 minutes 13 seconds remaining and Cameron Bassett scored two other fourth-quarter goals for San Clemente (6-1).
