In Century League girls’ swimming:
No. 7 Canyon 87, Villa Park 83--Lauren Mathewson, Katie Sackett, Sheva Khalafbeigi and Lauren Volcan won the 400 freestyle relay in 3:42.88, to clinch the victory for host Canyon (8-1, 4-0). Khalafbeigi and Mathewson also swam on the winning 200 medley relay and each won two individual races.
No. 8 Foothill 133, Orange 35--Brianna Allison won the 100 butterfly (1:06.79), 100 backstroke (1:08.48) and was part of the winning 400 freestyle relay team (3:51.05) for visiting Foothill (4-3, 3-1).
In the Orange League:
Brea Olinda 132, Magnolia 28--Sophomore Sarah Batchelor won the 200 freestyle (2:02.8) and 500 freestyle (5:27.00) for Brea (9-1, 3-0).
In Century League boys’ swimming:
No. 2 Villa Park 110, Canyon 60--Freshman Josh Cashuk won the 50 freestyle (22.80) and 100 free (51.43) for visiting Villa Park (9-0, 4-0).
