Sure it was only one match, but Bollini, one of the area’s top junior golfers, delivered in the Friars’ biggest dual match of the season. Bollini

shot an impressive

three-under 32 at Los Coyotes for top-ranked

Servite in its 184-185 victory over second-ranked Santa Margarita. Bollini, a junior, bounced back after shooting a one-over 37 in the teams’ first meeting at Coto de Caza North, which the Friars also won, 188-190.

* Rick Devinney

Tournament MVP had three hits and three RBIs in the final, helping the Spartans win the Pomona Elks title.

Tia Bollinger

Although there are plenty of top-notch pitchers in Orange County, Bollinger continues to show that she is one of the best in the biggest

games. Last week, she helped the Monarchs defeat Rancho Cuca-

monga,

5-1, in the championship game of the San Dimas tournament. Bollinger pitched a one-hitter to improve to 23-1, and struck out 11 to give her 305 strikeouts this season. Her only loss is a 1-0 defeat to Rosary.

* Kristen Dedmon

Esperanza, Softball

Freshman pitcher earned two victories in the Michelle Carew Classic, helping the Aztecs reach the final.

* Elisa Liana

Katella, Track & Field

Finished first in the pole vault (10-9) in a dual meet at Loara Thursday, the third-best mark in the county this season.
