Lancaster Shakes Up Rancho Cucamonga
Willie Bloomquist had three hits and the Jethawks defeated the Rancho Cucamonga Quakes, 8-6, in a California League game on Friday in Lancaster.
Kenny Rayborn (2-0) surrendered three hits, allowing no earned runs and striking out one in four innings of relief.
Brandon Parker worked a scoreless ninth for his sixth save.
Bloomquist drove in two runs and teammate Scott Maynard had two hits and two RBIs.
The JetHawks are 13-9. Rancho Cucamonga is 10-12.
