Crespi Takes Its First Step to Avoid Another Second

Share

The Crespi High boys’ basketball team hopes this time it will be different.

After finishing second in two tournaments this season, the Celts are intent on winning the title at the Hart Holiday Classic.

Behind Andrew Moore, they couldn’t have started out better in a 75-54 victory Wednesday over Palmdale in a first-round game.

Moore, who scored 16 of his 17 points in the first half, doesn’t like the feeling of finishing second.
