Chaminade 2, Edison 1--Lauren Treinen’s penalty kick in overtime gave the Eagles (7-2-2) a victory at the El Segundo tournament.
BOYS’ SOCCER
Reseda 2, Cleveland 0--The Regents (8-2-1) handed the Cavaliers their first defeat of the season in the Hart tournament.
Cleveland is 5-1-2.
Kilpatrick 1, Van Nuys 0--The Mustangs (8-1) won their pool and will play Hart in the semifinals of the Hart tournament.
Hart 0, Harvard-Westlake 0--The host Indians (5-4-1) edged the Wolverines (8-3-3) by one point in pool-play standings in the Hart tournament.
Quartz Hill 2, Valencia 1--Kiel McClung scored midway through the second half to break a 1-1 tie.
L.A. Baptist 8, Arrowhead 0--Andrew Jones and Robbie Krohn each scored two goals for the Knights (5-2-3) in the Ontario Christian tournament.
WOMEN’S BASKETBALL
Valley 65, San Joaquin Delta 42--Michelle Tompkins scored 22 points for the Monarchs (12-6) in the Fullerton tournament.
