Bell-Jeff 73, Stoneridge Prep 50--Casey Markovic had 17 points and eight rebounds for the Guards in a consolation victory at the Ribet Academy tournament.

Andy Bunning had 14 points and nine rebounds for Bell-Jeff (8-5).

Harvard-Westlake 78, El Rancho 60--Bobby Weinberger scored 15 points, Craig Weinstein had 13 points and six steals, and the Wolverines (5-5) won a second-round game in the Chino tournament.

Oxnard 76, Pasadena 55--Nicholas Curtis had 19 points and 12 rebounds, and Erik Webb had 17 points for the Yellowjackets in a quarterfinal victory at the Santa Barbara tournament.

Capistrano Valley 55, Simi Valley 40--Dustin Villepigue scored 23 points for the Pioneers (9-2) in a second-round loss in the Torrey Pines tournament.

Capistrano Valley outscored Simi Valley, 14-4, in the fourth quarter. Villepigue scored only six points in the second half.

Taft 72, Garfield 69--Mustafa Asghari scored 18 of his 31 points in the second half and had seven assists for the Toreadors (10-4) in a consolation victory at the Eagle Rock tournament.

Nima Javaherian made five of eight three-pointers and had 21 points for Taft (10-4).

Ventura 63, Channel Islands 62--Jason Gruber made two free throws with 10 seconds left in the third overtime and the Cougars (7-6) won a Ventura tournament game.

Bryan Easterly finished with 28 points after scoring just two in the first half for Ventura. Gruber had 10 points and 14 rebounds.

Rio Mesa 55, Buena 46--Tunde Alonge had 15 points and eight rebounds for the Spartans (6-5) in a Ventura tournament victory.

Notre Dame 74, Franklin 65--Cody Pearson made eight of nine free throws and scored 11 of his 27 points in the fourth quarter for Notre Dame in a La Salle/Temple City tournament quarterfinal.

Michael Luderer scored 24 for the Knights (10-1), including five three-point baskets.

Buena 65, Madison West 41--Kelly Greathouse had 26 points and 15 rebounds for the Bulldogs in a first-round victory in the Optimist Charity Classic at Milwaukee.

Courtney Young had 17 points and six assists for Buena (11-0), ranked No. 1 in the region.

Simi Valley 61, Bishop Diego 36--Teresa Cooper scored 21 points and the Pioneers (10-2) won in the Arroyo Grande tournament.

Canoga Park 38, Verdugo Hills 20--Mishel Hyun had 13 points for the Hunters in a victory at the Canoga Park tournament.

Chaminade 45, Redwood 29--Christina Zdenek had 12 points and six steals for the Eagles (10-1) in a consolation victory in the Righetti tournament.

Royal 74, Crescenta Valley 44--Kinsley Mittel had 17 points and six steals as the Highlanders won a Thousand Oaks tournament quarterfinal game.

Novey Woodard-Parker and Ashley Alderton each scored 14 for the Highlanders (9-3).

Burroughs 57, Palm Desert 33--Tulyah Gaines had 15 points and seven steals in a Palm Desert tournament pool-play victory for the Indians (7-6).
