Anaheim Man, 76, Is Arrested in Nephew’s Shooting
A 76-year-old Anaheim man shot and wounded his nephew Saturday afternoon, police said.
The New Year’s Day incident occurred about 1:50 p.m. at a house in the 5000 block of East Crescent Avenue, Anaheim Police Sgt. Joe Vargas said. Police responding to a report of a possible shooting found 44-year-old Ryan Robinson with a gunshot wound to the leg. The Torrance man was taken to Kaiser Permanente Anaheim Medical Center. His injuries are not considered life-threatening.
Robinson’s uncle, Sidney Harland Robinson, was arrested on suspicion of aggravated assault and booked into jail in Anaheim.
A handgun was also recovered at the scene, Vargas said.
Police are still investigating the incident.
