Simi Valley 73, Thousand Oaks 71--Branduinn Fullove made a 15-footer at the buzzer and the top-ranked Pioneers won a Marmonte League game at Simi Valley.

Fullove finished with 26 points and 10 rebounds, and Brett Michel scored 22 for Simi Valley (12-2, 1-0), which trailed by eight points in the third quarter.

Kyle Kegley scored 26 points for Thousand Oaks (8-6, 0-1).

Oxnard 74, Buena 60--Nicolas Curtis scored 20 points and Ricky Hernandez added 14 to for the Yellowjackets (12-4) in a nonleague victory at Buena. Curtis also had 20 rebounds for Oxnard, ranked No. 5 in the region.

Ryan Cobos scored 11 points for Buena (4-12).

Alemany 70, Notre Dame 58--Reny Meynard scored 30 points and Byron Joseph added 14 for the Indians (6-8, 1-0) in a Mission League game at Notre Dame.

Cody Pearson scored 21 points for Notre Dame (10-4, 0-1), ranked No. 7 in the region.

Moorpark 69, Westlake 58--Todd Tomlinson and Ryan Moser each scored 23 points for the Muskeeters, who won a Marmonte League opener at Moorpark.

Moser made six three-point baskets in 15 shots for the Musketeers (12-2). Tomlinson made nine of 23 shots including a two-for-10 effort from three-point range.

Tyler Adamczyk, who picked up his fourth foul early in the third quarter, was held to 13 points for the Warriors (10-5).

Joe Tormos, Ron Russ and Pete Dalrymple took turns guarding Adamczyk, who averages 18.3, in a man-to-man defense.

Newbury Park 66, Agoura 53--Matt Currie scored 11 of his 23 points in the third quarter to help the Panthers break a 24-24 tie at halftime in a Marmonte League opener at Newbury Park.

Will Svitek scored 18 points for the Panthers (7-5, 1-0), who outscored Agoura in the third quarter, 22-11.

Ventura 60, Channel Islands 50--Tyler Ebell had 22 points, including four three-point baskets, for the Cougars in a nonleague victory at Ventura.

Mike Derse and Antwaine Richards each scored 12 points for Ventura (11-5), ranked No. 9 in the region. Derse had eight rebounds and Richards had three steals.

Oak Park 69, Calabasas 49--Zach Smith scored 14 of his 21 points in the first half for the Eagles in a nonleague game at Calabasas.

Jeremy Murphy made nine of 10 free throws and finished with 19 points for Oak Park (10-5).

Buckley 72, Viewpoint 66--Colin Ward-Henninger scored 17 of his 33 points for the Griffins in the fourth quarter of a Liberty League victory at Buckley.

David Gale added nine assists and six steals for Buckley (8-2, 2-0).

Granada Hills Hillcrest Christian 76, West L.A. Baptist 51--Amit Nat had 17 points and 13 rebounds, and Amrit Nat had 12 points, 10 rebounds and seven assists for the Eagles in a Westside League victory at Granada Hills Hillcrest Christian (6-7, 1-0).
