Kevin Krause / Royal

- Tight End

- Krause led the Highlanders in receptions for the third consecutive year with 27 catches for 369 yards and two touchdowns. An accomplished blocker, he had 100 career receptions for 1,282 yards and seven touchdowns.

Adam Gray-Hayward / St. Bonaventure

- 6-2, 205, Sr.

- Receiver

- Gray-Hayward was a tough and consistent possession receiver who ranked second in the region with 77 catches for 1,212 yards and 19 touchdowns. He set school records for single-season and career scoring receptions (29).

Matt Amundson / Newbury Park

- 6-1, 240, Sr.

- Line

- The two-way starter helped ease the Panthers’ transition from a pass-oriented offense to a balanced attack. Amundson improved in the second half of the season, helping Newbury Park win four of its last five games.

Adrian Ayala / St. Bonaventure

- 6-6, 310, Sr.

- Line

- Selected Ventura County small schools offensive lineman of the year by coaches, Ayala paved the way for the Seraphs’ potent rushing attack.

Keith Holt / Westlake

- 6-5, 300, Sr.

- Line

- Known for his excellent pass protection, Holt did not allow a sack this season for the Warriors, who averaged 45.6 points per game. He was a solid blocker on running plays.

Josh Ferrell / Rio Mesa

- 6-6, 270, Sr.

- Line

- The three-year starter is “one of the three or four best drive blockers I’ve coached in 30 years,” according to Rio Mesa Coach George Contreras.

Marcus Crawford / Newbury Park

- 6-2, 200, Jr.

- Running Back

- Crawford rushed for 1,766 yards and 13 touchdowns in a region-high 319 carries. A defensive end at Thousand Oaks last season, he helped lead Newbury Park to the Southern Section Division IV semifinals.

Tyler Ebell / Ventura

- 5-10, 170, Jr.

- Running Back

- Ebell rushed for 1,622 yards and 30 touchdowns for the Cougars, who won their first nine games. Nicknamed Mighty Mouse, he ranked second on the team in receptions.

Zac Wasserman / Westlake

- 6-3, 200, Sr.

- Quarterback

- The Penn State-bound Wasserman completed 181 of 313 passes for 2,806 yards and 37 touchdowns, with 13 interceptions. He helped lead the Warriors to their first Southern Section title.

Brian Orta / Moorpark

5-9, 150, Sr.

- Kicker

- Orta kicked six field goals, made 21 of 22 extra-point attempts and averaged 38 yards per punt. He had 10 career field goals and 45 extra points.

DEFENSIVE TEAM

Brandon Faumuina / Buena

- 6-1, 210, Jr.

- Line

- Faumuina is a physical player who pursues well at defensive end. He also excelled at tight end, finishing with 22 catches for 500 yards and five touchdowns for the Channel League champions.

Tucker Bennett / St. Bonaventure

- 6-3, 235, Sr.

- Line

- Selected Ventura County small schools defensive lineman of the year by coaches, Bennett had 17 sacks. He has several recruiting trips planned, including one to Stanford.

John Hill / Nordhoff

- 6-0, 190, Sr.

- Linebacker

- The two-way starter had a team-high 46 tackles in four Division XI playoff games for the runner-up Rangers. Hill finished with 103 tackles, four sacks and four caused fumbles. As a quarterback, he passed for 1,495 yards and 12 touchdowns.

Ben Lorier / Westlake

- 6-0, 200, Sr.

- Linebacker

- With his combination of speed and strength, Lorier led the Warriors with 132 tackles. His blocked field-goal attempt with 1:47 to play preserved a 24-21 victory over San Luis Obispo in the Division IV final.

Scott Korell / Camarillo

- 6-1, 220, Sr.

- Linebacker

- The three-year starter had a team-high 139 tackles for the Pacific View League champions. Korell had five sacks in helping the Scorpions reach the Division IV quarterfinals.

Michael Brignac / Westlake

- 6-1, 190, Sr.

- Back

- The triple threat had 60 receptions for 1,023 yards and 14 touchdowns, scored on two punt returns and intercepted two passes for the Marmonte League and Division IV champions.

Scott Ellis / Ventura

- 6-2, 165, Sr.

- Back

- A two-year starter in the secondary, Ellis intercepted four passes and played quarterback, passing for 942 yards and eight touchdowns. He rushed for 523 yards and three touchdowns.

Freddy Keiaho / Buena

- 5-11, 195, Jr.

- Back

- A versatile defensive player, Keiaho could drop into pass coverage or help stop the run. He also was a standout on offense, rushing for 1,176 yards and 16 touchdowns.

Cody Murphy / Buena

- 6-3, 180, Sr.

- Back

- A solid two-way player, Murphy had three interceptions and broke several school receiving records. He had 112 career receptions for 1,423 yards and 11 touchdowns.

Justin Richter / Agoura

- 5-10, 195, Sr.

- Back

- An aggressive, intimidating free safety, Richter was effective against the run and pass. He rushed for 828 yards and six touchdowns, and had 15 receptions.
