El Modena 2, Canyon 1--Freshman Lindsey Horst scored two second-half goals, including the game-winner on a 25-yard free kick in the 71st minute, for host El Modena (9-4-2, 3-0).

In the Empire League:

El Dorado 2, Loara 2 (OT)--Angela Rodriguez scored twice in the second half, including the tying goal in the 70th minute on a penalty kick, for visiting El Dorado (7-7-2, 2-0-1). Lauren Lappin scored her 18th and 19th goals in the first half for Loara (11-2-1, 1-1-1).

In the Freeway League:

Sunny Hills 8, Buena Park 0--Simi Phull had four goals and two assists for Sunny Hills (13-4-1, 3-0).

In the Golden West League:

Westminster 3, Saddleback 1--Jasmin Ozuna scored the game-winner 10 minutes into the second half, and Maria Ramirez scored a goal in each half to lead visiting Westminster (8-2-2, 2-1).

In the Olympic League:

Orange Lutheran 2, Whittier Christian 1--First-half goals by Brooke Williams and Erin Lea sparked the Lancers (4-4-3, 1-0-2).

In the Pacific Coast League:

Laguna Beach 3, University 1--Trailing, 1-0, the Artists (7-6, 2-1) tied the score on Rosie Dobbs’ goal in the 35th minute, then won on goals by Lindsay Butterwick and Erin Bevaqua.

In the Serra League:

No. 4 Santa Margarita 3, Mater Dei 0--Erin Egertson scored two goals and Alix Cohen scored one for Santa Margarita (10-3, 2-0).

Junior goaltender Kim Boortz made five saves for host Mater Dei (7-6-1, 0-2).

Rosary 5, Lakewood St. Joseph’s 0--Midfielder Shauna Rech scored four second-half goals for Rosary (10-6, 2-0).

In the South Coast League:

Trabuco Hills 2, No. 2 Mission Viejo 1--Jaqui DeLeon scored the game-winner in the 70th minute after a scramble in front of the Mission Viejo goal.

Mission Viejo (12-3-1, 1-2), which lost its second consecutive game, led 1-0 after a goal by Stacey Mescher. Trabuco Hills’ Sarah Higuera scored the tying goal at the end of the first half.

Freshman Jessica Fox had four saves for Trabuco Hills (8-5, 2-1).

No. 1 Capistrano Valley 2, El Toro 0--Kristen Moore scored off an assist from Megan Abbamonto and assisted on a goal by Coco D’Angelo for Capistrano Valley (13-1, 3-0). El Toro is 9-6-1, 1-2.

No. 6 San Clemente 1, Dana Hills 0--Emily Ernsdorf scored in the 25th minute off an assist from Courtney Tammelin for San Clemente (8-1-3, 2-1-0).

In the Sunset League:

Esperanza 1, No. 8 Edison 0--Sophomore Julie Handy scored just before halftime and senior goalkeeper Kristin Skinner had six saves and recorded her 10th shutout for Esperanza (10-5-2, 2-1).

Fountain Valley 1, No. 9 Los Alamitos 0--Julie Scheppele scored for Fountain Valley (4-5-2, 1-1-1) in the 60th minute when her shot deflected off a defender and into the goal.

Ashley DeAlejandro had 14 saves for Los Alamitos (7-5-2, 1-1-1).

No. 7 Marina 2, Huntington Beach 0--Erin Yznaga and Lindsay Megill each scored a goal for Marina (12-5-2, 3-0).
