Greensboro (N.C.) Dudley 85, La Jolla Bishop’s 33--Ricky Lewis scored 17 points and was one of five players to score in double figures for Dudley.

Chino Hills Ayala 69, Manual Arts 49--Marcel Burke scored 21 points and Marc McCoy added 15 for the Bulldogs.

Santa Monica Crossroads 57, Long Beach Jordan 46--Felipe Williams scored 23 points and Isaiah Fox had 20 points and 11 rebounds for the Roadrunners.

In the Martin Luther King girls’ basketball tournament:

Troy 61, Corona Centennial 48--Veronica Johns-Richardson scored 23 points to lead the Warriors (16-3), ranked No. 1 in Orange County and fifth in Southern Section Division I-A, over the 10th-ranked Huskies at UC Riverside.

Johns-Richardson also had seven assists and six steals for Troy, which forced 32 turnovers and committed 11. Kianey Givins-Davis contributed 10 rebounds and Amanda Livingston had six blocks and six steals for the Warriors.

In nonleague girls’ water polo:

No. 6 Santa Margarita 13, Rosary 12 (sudden death)--Erika Figge scored eight goals, including the game-winner in sudden death, for the Eagles (11-5) at Servite.

Figge scored four goals in the fourth period, when the Eagles outscored Rosary, 7-3, to erase a four-goal deficit. Jamie Kroeze had three goals for Santa Margarita.

Natalie Golda scored eight goals for the Royals (8-4).

El Modena 19, Loara 2--Kristin Taylor scored four goals, and Gaby Garcia had four goals, four steals and four assists for the host Vanguards (11-7), who led, 7-0, after the first quarter.

Mollie Sparks and Jenny DeGrave scored three goals each for El Modena.

In nonleague boys’ basketball:

No. 7 Santa Margarita 91, Temple City 51--Adam Tancredi scored 11 of his 19 points in the opening quarter as the host Eagles (15-4) took a 24-15 lead.

Tancredi and Anthony Ansevin also had 10 rebounds.
